As good as Duracell at 1/10th the price Aug 11, 2010 Made in China but have held up as well as pricey Duracell batteries. Very pleased with the performance for the price paid.

There's gotta be a catch! May 28, 2010 My brand new Ph meter got submerged and it fried the batteries. Shopped around a bit and was pretty amazed to find this pack of 20 batteries for barely even 3 dollars when other sites had smaller quantities for more money. I was so sure this was gonna be a burn but figured for a couple bucks why not, well they arrived and the following proved true.
1. There ARE 20 of them.
2. They were factory sealed brand new.
3. Using 4 of them at the moment and I am VERY pleased.
Thank you Amazon!
great service/great product/ even better price May 25, 2010 I received great service. The product is exactly what I wanted and the price was fabulous. Thank you
Alkaline batteries May 20, 2010 These batteries only lasted me about one month of using it for my reading nightlight. Not long, but considering the price...it works!Although, I see these other customers got 20 batteries. I only got ten batteries. What's up with that?
Misleading equivalent battery claim, no date code on package. Check that this is really the battery you need. You may need a 357 May 05, 2010 The delivered price is indeed amazing, and the batteries look fine.
I bought these because I wanted to replace an SR44. In the "product detail" section of the Amazon web site for this it says this:
Cross Reference: CR44,1131SO,SR44
However, from further research it seems that the 357A is not an equivalent of SR44, but a 357 would have been. Apparently the 'A' stands for Alkaline whereas the non-'A' part is a silver-oxide battery. They have the same size and shape, but there is a slight difference in initial voltage and the alkaline battery slowly decreases in voltage whereas the silver-oxide tends to keep its voltage constant and then dies quickly at the end of life. The 357 is better for demanding applications such as calculators.
Also, the batteries have no expiration date provided. The packaging says PD: and ED: 2 years (PD is blank ). I'm guessing PD stands for production date, and ED is the expiration date. But two years from a blank production date tells you nothing of the age. We can only hope that their claim of "new" and "fresh" batteries is correct.
So, undoubtedly great value for money, fast delivery, but dishonest and misleading information in the Amazon "Product Information" section and no date code on the packaging or battery means I give this a lower rating than I would have otherwise done.
