Replaces Eveready Utility Lantern Bulb Mar 27, 2011
By curl girl I couldn't find an Eveready C-whatever bulb when mine burned out. The Eveready Utility Lantern is cheap and widely available. I don't think I'd buy it again, but I still had good batteries for it that I hadn't used. I can't see that this bulb is any brighter than what came with the Lantern, but it's fine. You have to use pliers to get the original bulb out. Unscrew the lid and start twisting the black plastic thing that holds the bulb. On my Lantern at least, I had to make sure the bulb was lined up exactly with the metal receptor (slot) before it would work. Just look carefully at how your original bulb is placed before switch it out.
