It was great until it blew my adapters May 29, 2010
By Ami Wilson This is a convenient TYPE of item to own with all the electronics we cart around with us. I would not recommend this particular one. It was great for the six months that I used it until it blew out my car adapters. Coincidentally (or maybe not) the warranty is only for six months. So, there was nothing I could do. Not only that, Duracell does not actually manufacture this product. When I opened it and read the fine print, I found out that it was some other little known company called Xantrex who is using Duracell's name with permission. I certainly wouldn't have bought it if was branded Xantrex. It was not worth the damage it did to my vehicle.

falls out Jan 27, 2011
By deco70 it somehow pushes itself out of the socket...not sure if that's it's way of preventing overload? And, the flex neck doesnt move, it's just a 'fixed' flex

This device was very helpful on a 20 hour drive. We used it to power a portable DVD player for my child. It worked flawlessly as expected.

EXCELLENT Jul 22, 2011
By Jason A. Berger I used this on a car trip from South Florida to New Jersey. It worked PERFECT. The device never got hot while in use (I was worried it would get hot and shut off on it's own to cool down). It barely even felt warm. It worked perfect. I was so happy. I had speakers plugged in to the electric outlet and I had my cell phone plugged in to the usb outlet. The only thing that would have made this better was if it also had another cigerette lighter so that I could have plugged my gps in to. The car I was driving only had 1 cigerette outlet and that was taken by this inverter.

I use this to run household Christmas lights on my roofrack. Brightens up the season. A few zip ties & an extension cord.
