A Handy Supply. Feb 20, 2010
By Gary Peterson I've always thought of Duracell Coppertop Batteries as being a fine product and I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend them. Nowadays, we use them in all kinds of things and I was reminded just a short time ago when our smoke alarm gave the signal that it was time for a battery replacement. Well, we were out. It figures. So, the next time we went to our local warehouse store we picked up a package of 8 new batteries. That may seem excessive, but they're used in so many things and they have a real long drawer life. We have no doubt that they'll be used and buying them in this quantity offers substantial savings over buying them one or two at a time at our local drugstore, not to mention the time in seeking them out. This 8-pack is a real handy supply to have around.

Great Long Lasting Batteries - Recommended Aug 02, 2009

Duracell 9 volts are the only batteries I use in the wireless microphones we use for our instructional video business. We replace the batteries before every shoot and sometime run for up to 10 hours non-stop. Wireless microphones use a lot of power and we have found that the Duracell batteries can make it through an entire day of shooting, lasting about 25% longer than the less expensive generic types we tried before.
We also use Duracell 9 volts in our smoke detectors at home. They might be more expensive than some, but they are worth it in the long run.
Highly recommended!
Not sure if they are legit! Mar 16, 2012
By A. Bruce Reasonable price but not sure if they are the real deal. They haven't expired yet but 3 leaked so I had to throw them away.
Not as pictured, different 9-volt batteries in plastic wrap. Feb 27, 2012

I ordered 50 9 volt batteries that arrived damaged as they were sent USPS in a 10 x 12" Tyvek envelope. Some of the batteries had dents in them from the travel from California to Michigan, two of them were discharged.
Did not arrive in a cardboard Duracell outer sleeve as described and pictured in Amazon ad....but rather just a plastic piece of wrapping (see picture).
Great price but not great shipping costs unless you buy more than 3 packages. Total cost including shipping was 1.67 per battery verses 2.01 per battery at Costco or 2.67 per battery at Home Depot.
The batteries are marked on the bottom with a weird Chinese lettering that the ones that I purchased at Home Depot did not have (see attached picture).
I am trying to return the batteries since they are not as pictured and they were damaged in shipment.
not happy with the expiration date Dec 28, 2011
By S. Tony The expiration date was 10 months earlier than the date that I bought them. Needles to say that I had to change the batteries alot more often than I should, because the batteries were so old and drained.
