Great price versus Radio Shack Sep 22, 2011
By J. Ferrer I needed this battery for a Crimson Laser on a compact handgun. Radio Shack was priced at $11.99, and I said "no thanks". I picked up 3 from here for a little more than the single battery at the Shack.

great price for this size of battery Oct 17, 2011

For those who will do the research, you will find that the DL1/3N, K58L, CR1/3N, and the 2L76 are all the same battery, just different companies who feel the need to give it their own name, WTF?
After researching all of the varieties and prices, the Energizer seemed like the best deal.
Haven't used them yet, as they were backup batteries for an Aimpoint scope. Since it isn't used much, I still am using the original batteries and wanted a couple backups.
This battery size is probably more common for point and shoot cameras and similar electronics.
These made from LITHIUM, so dispose of them properly, i.e. not in the trash!

No info provided on expiration of these batteries Jan 17, 2012
By Arctic Highlander I ordered a 6 pack of these energizer lithium batteries from Mybatterysupply. They was no expiration date listed and they were not fresh and they had reduced capacity. I used them in a laser sight that was starting to dim noticeably after a few seconds from having used it extensively and run down the original battery that came with it. I ordered a six pack of new ones here and they dimmed right away also. When I checked the voltage on them they were the same as the one I had already used extensively. There was no expiration date on them and I assume they must have been close to or past expiration. I suggest only buying replacements with an advertised expiration date that shows they are fresh.

Great deal Dec 01, 2011

I also use it for my Crimson Trace laser grips. They would probably last several years without changing, but I replace them once a year along with smoke detector batteries. Some things it's better to be on the safe side. Name brand and great price (especially with free shipping with no minimum purchase).
poor battery performance May 14, 2012
By tac379 My complaint is similar to the other 1 star review. I put this battery in a laser-sight that has an advertised run time of 2+ hours. That is similar to the use I got from the first battery that was shipped with the laser. It started dimming almost immediately after putting it in, was very faint the second time I tested it (for only a few minutes), and wouldn't turn on the third time. I got maybe 10 minutes of use off of this battery (and that's being generous). Lack of expiration date on the shipped battery implies to me that these are old or reduced capacity. Very disappointed, as it was basically a total waste of $4.
