5These are Silver Oxide 1.55 Volt -- Better than Alkaline  Mar 22, 2011 By C. MacPhail

Beware: this size is available in either Silver Oxide or Alkaline versions.

It's not stated in the amazon listing, but these are the better type: Silver Oxide.

According to Wikipedia, the Silver Oxide have a slightly higher voltage, (1.55v vs. 1.50v), last about 50% longer and also hold a more constant voltage as they're used up.

Also, these Energizers claim a 7-year shelf life. I got these for 1.15 each (delivered) -- seemed like the best deal at the time.

I had very good experience. I am buying all my batteries through Amazon in future.

5The 357 is a very common button cell - great to have on hand  Sep 22, 2009 By HMMWV "God, Country, Corps"
The 357 battery is used in so many devices it is almost as common as the AAA cell. Often, 357 cells are stacked to get 4.5 volts or 6 volts. Examples of 357 battery using equipment range from pocket calculators like the HP 12C HP 12c Financial Calculator (12C#ABA) to water quality testers, and several miniature sized test equipment tools such as voltmeters and even wall stud locators.

I try to keep a fresh supply of 357 batteries on hand simply because so many of my tools use them. This is a good price, fast shipping, and the shipped cells were fresh stock -- all important in replacing dead batteries.

The energizer brand 357 tops out all the china made 357 cells in longevity so I usually pay a little more to have a long lasting battery.

2date 2004  Jul 28, 2011 By Trung Ha
I have just tested two of them and they work fine. But date of production is 2004, that why it's cheap. I did not find expiration date.

1EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE  Dec 15, 2011 By Dissatisfied customer
My order arrived, WITH $1.07 POSTAGE DUE!!!!! If the postman hadn't already left it with me, along with a bill for that amount, I would definitely have refused the order.
