The product pictured is NOT what i got. Apr 06, 2011
By Jeremy C. I received an Exide battery that has the same label, same basic information - but only has a single pair of posts - and they are in the middle of the left and right sides respectively. This does three things for me -
1. I can't use my current battery mount to hold the battery in place as the strap goes accross the middle. 2. My plan to clean up my accessories wired to the battery with extra terminals is not possible. 3. I cannot return this item.
TLDR: this is NOT the 4 post battery pictured.

Good battery but not as pictured Jun 13, 2011
By B. Snelgrove This seems to be a good battery, I put it in an 84 CJ7 as the starting battery and it has plenty of power to turn the motor over. The only real drawback (and it may not matter to most people) is it does NOT have two sets of top post terminals like the picture shows, it has one set of top post terminals and one set of side post terminals. Packing was solid with a heavy cardboard box and packing material but was not overkill or wasteful.

Nice Battery Jan 13, 2012
By chipmunkofdoom2 I bought this battery for a battery backup for my aquarium. It hooks up to a 1,100w MSW inverter for when I have long power outages.
So far, so good. I ran a test on this battery and I can get about 2.5-3 days backup out of it, which works out to be about 50Ah at that rate. This battery spends most of its time on a Battery Tender waiting for an emergency. The value of this battery is unparalleled, with Prime shipping, you get this thing shipped 2 days for free.. which means you get the battery for what many sellers want to simply SHIP a battery to you. Definitely a great value. Haven't used the reserve capacity yet or anything like that, but for my purposes, it works just fine. I am probably going to pick up another so I can either create a basic grid or have one to power the equipment and one to charge at work.. provided they still have power. Haha.
The reviews are correct, this battery is incorrectly pictured. This was not an issue, as I only needed the one set of terminals, but just pointing that out for other readers.

good battery Jan 19, 2012
By Robert Webb good battery, but it seems to be different from the one pictured not a big deal because it work's well in my aluminum duck boat as I keep it topped off with a smart on board battery charger NOCO GEN2 NOCO Genius Black 12-24V 2-Bank 20A On-Board Battery Charger

doing it's job May 15, 2011
By Michael Ratliff So far the battery is doing it's job. I have it connected to a travel trailer. I really wanted a true deep cell battery. This one is a hybrid.
Update: battery went dead after 7 months of use, but seems to be working now. Still haven't figured out what caused it to go dead.
