 Doesn't fit Droid Incredible. Jul 19, 2011

Even though it is advertised as a "Standard" HTC Battery for the Droid Incredible it is thicker then the old battery and the battery cover won't go on, which makes it pretty much useless, so I'm just going to return it. I'm not sure why nobody else seems to have this problem, maybe they just sent me the wrong one but I ordered two and they are both the same thickness.

This is one of two batteries I bought that say they fit the Droid Incredible phone but don't. The battery is to big to close the cover completely making the battery worthless. Don't buy this battery if you have a Droid Incredible.

As another review stated, the battery doesn't fit the original HTC Droid Incredible. It is the correct length and width. It is not the correct thickness. It is only a millimeter (or two) too thick - the back will almost snap on but not completely (I could get "3 sides" of the phone back to "snap" tight but there was one side that had a gap and was not fully closed). With the battery in the phone, the back would tend to come off during use.
Some people seem to have success with this battery?? Not sure why. My phone was purchased when the HTC Droid Incredible was first released. Did HTC change the battery & phone back configuration a tiny bit during the product cycle? I'm not sure. I'm only sure that it didn't work for me.

I just recently got this battery. To keep this short, I fully charged the battery. The first time I used it the battery barely last half of a day with normal use. I wasn't running a bunch of apps on my Droid Incredible. The second day I checked two or three websites on it and it only lasted about 4 hours. On top of that this battery is thicker than the actual HTC battery that ships with the Incredible. You have to force the back cover on and even then the bottom of the back cover bulges up a little. I would NOT recommend this battery to even people I don't like.

Did not fit in my HTC Incredible. Did not have moisture indicator patch. Authentic? Not sure. Returned item.
