Great little tool, not perfect (yet) Dec 10, 2011

I keep one of these in my pocket all the time, great for looking at tags on equipment in dark corners, reading menus in dark restaurants, etc. When I'm hiking, I always have it with me.
The only problem? I'm a guy, I keep it in my pocket. It's always getting turned on by accident, until my wife tells me "you have something glowing in your pocket". If the manufacturer can come up with a switch that is not turned on so easily by accident, this will be a 5 star product.
Don't get me wrong, I love the product, and have given at least ten as gifts.

Best of the BEST!! Mar 26, 2011

Got this as a present 2 years ago right from the manufacturer. This is amazing light! On high mode, I can see enough at night to repel critters from my chicken coop; on low I can see to walk and avoid rattlesnakes in my path. Used it during long power outages, night time barn chores, and constant trips walking my dogs. I just changed the battery from the one I received with it to a lithium. The original battery still had enough juice after 2 years usage to read with!
I most STRONGLY recommend this black model for those that need a compact white light for their bailout bag. Use the lithium battery that has a 10 year shelf life and lasts twice as long as a regular DuraCell. Get the Paklite belt pouch and have a shoe repairman modify it with a snap closure and a tougher belt loop. I put a wrap of black duct tape around the battery so it is easy to grip with my teeth while using to change a tire, etc ( something tough to do with my high dollar Inova's). IMO, this light should be included in every emergency kit. I also have a red light used for checking traps at night. Paklite also is "Made in the U.S.A." & is backed by a no BS guarantee.

very handy Nov 07, 2010

Very useful item. I bought it because at work we quickly run out of AA or AAA batterys because everybody uses them. We have tons of 9 volt batts for testing equipment. Now I have a light easy to carry on rounds and I never run out of batts. Well made item but so small it's easy to misplace.

Very pleased Jun 24, 2009
By dasha I paid $19+delivery for that product but I think it's worth it. I have smoke detectors at home which take that type of batteries. I have to replace them frequently because the detectors start complaining about low battery. So I have tons of batteries which are not completely drained of power and which I can use with that flashlight. It's very comfortable to keep it your pocket while camping.
