| | Description |
One of the toughest, most durable lights Rayovac has made to date, this bright, long-lasting, durable LED headlight will work just as hard as you do. Powered by three AAA batteries, this flashlight features a super bright, high performance LED that produces an amazing 35 lumens while still achieving a 19-hour battery run time on one set of batteries. Virtually Indestructible Designed for maximum durability and simplicity, it offers a 60-degree pivoting head and it comes with a comfortable headstrap made of cloth and silicone. The durable internal and external engineering allow for virtual indestructibility, and it's been drop tested to a height of 30 feet. Constructed of aluminum and titanium alloy, it will withstand any environment, and it has an IPX4 water resistance rating. It also includes rubber head and tail cap shock absorbers that can stand up to the challenges life can bring. This headlight is backed by a lifetime guarantee. The Power of LEDs A perfect light source for modern headlamps, LEDS are virtually unbreakable, and they contain no filament or mercury. Lasting a lifetime, they never need to be replaced. And they use battery power much more efficiently, greatly reducing the number of batteries needed over the life of the light. The DIYHL3AAA-B has two modes of operation--a bright high-performance setting and a lower-lumen energy saver mode for longer battery life. | |

Universal Light for the Family Nov 14, 2011
By Carolita Jean Rivera This is a great light for the entire family. We use this light when taking out the garbage can to the curb. We live out in the country and have a long driveway. The light is easy to slip on and your hands are free to take care of the task at hand. It has a large beam of light and we like the fact that it is impact resistant.

Headlight great for construction projects Nov 10, 2011
By REVIEW GIRL This headlight is great for construction projects especially as we wind up the season in the Midwest. Dusk comes quickly and we always have those last minute details that have to be completed before the end of day. Being compact is ideal for us as we have many items on; safety vest, various tools on the belt, etc. It can easily be tucked away. The Rayovac 36 pack battery pack is a good companion piece with this.

Decent Head Lamp, Excellent Value Mar 14, 2012
By A. Duncan Like most Rayovac products, this is a serviceable product that is a good value. We are not talking about Apple-level of engineering here -- the beam is a weird shape and a bit diffuse, and the head strap is on the flimsy side. The click-adjustable light pivot is not well designed. On the positive side, the top strap is a real plus when used for long periods of time -- it allows the side head strap to much looser than it otherwise would. And the LEDs are plenty bright. The on/off button needs hard pressure to turn on-high, on-medium, off -- and I consider that a good feature. (Energizer's cheap head lamp with easily moved slide switch is awful). The case is indeed quite rugged. Three AAA batteries -- not as much juice as AA models, but much cheaper price. Difficult to compare battery life because there is no standard for % lumen output as the batteries wear down. Lifetime warranty is nice. Consider it a good back-up head lamp.

great little lights Jan 23, 2012
By Brian Schmidt These are well built and hold up nicely. They throw a decent amount of light for most nighttime outdoor activities. For a low priced simple headlamp they are pretty good.
