Keeps batteries stationary and stackable Nov 29, 2009
By Austin Spafford The best feature is the internal ribbing, which keeps partial loads (1-3 batteries) from rattling about. While the cases lack external grooves or pins for alignment, they stack just fine up to about 5-6 cases in height.
The only problem I have with the product is that the latch can be a little difficult to finger open, but I'd rather have that than loose batteries. I also expect the latch to loosen up with use.
There is also a small loop that could be used to hang these cases on a rack.

Much needed product Dec 06, 2009
By D. E. Warthen Sr.

If you have rechargeable batteries, this is a much needed product to keep separate your used and fresh batteries, as well as to keep charged batteries from being loose in your pocket or bag and getting shorted out. This is a very good product at a great price.

Buy a bunch! Great for photographers Jul 18, 2010
By MiRSD Kind of an odd item, but one I (as someone who deals with literally dozens of AA batteries) absolutely love.
It's very basic - a piece of plastic with (AA-Sized) grooves that opens/closes (and locks), but that's just what's so great about it. No extra bulk or unnecessary pieces, just a straight-to-the-point case.
The grooves let you hold any amount of AA (1-4) without them rolling around in the case - this is good for those devices that use 1 or 2 AA and you want to keep the other 2-3 AA in a case (but don't want to hear them rattling around).
I will say the colors a bit ugly. I'd much prefer clear, white, black (transparent or solid) - any "plain" color besides blue as it really sticks out (but nothing a can of spraypaint won't fix).
I find the 4 AA holder is very helpful in the amount it holds - you're supposed to keep batteries together - if you buy 2 packs of AA's, you should charge/use them each as a set (not mixing and matching all the time) - not sure if this actually makes a difference, but it's always sounded good to me so I follow that. This pack allows you to do just that (whereas a big box of batteries will have you pulling random ones all the time). Another nice thing (when using rechargeables) is that you can put the battery either positive up or positive down, indicating whether or not it's been used already.
I don't really have any faults about the case (besides the color). It would be nice if these were sold in bulk-amounts (I own about 25 of these), but at the low price they cost you really can't go wrong.
If you're a photographer and have loads of batteries to haul around (spares for flashes, external battery packs, battery grips, etc..) this is a must-have.

Hate It!!!! Apr 02, 2010
By J. Ludwig

Don't waste your time or money on this. It's just a cheap and I do mean cheap piece of plastic. Right out of package it won't stay shut and I don't see the plastic hinge lasting much longer. I order other items and for some reason they shipped this separately and the shipping was 3 times the cost of the item.

cheap product Aug 18, 2010

It works fine with rechargeable batteries, also with regular ones. So far it hasnt broken, but I think the material is kind of cheap and it will be broke soon.
I bought two of them and the shipping is 3 times more expensive than the product.
